BOILER WATER TREATMENT
Boiler water treatment chemicals must enhance continuous heat exchange, corrosion protection, and high quality steam production. Scaling and corrosion are the two key heads that adversely affect the boiler system efficiency. Different treatments are used to avoid scaling, corrosion, and/or foaming. While external treatment of feed water deals with removal of impurities prior to boilers, internal treatment of the boilers deal with the tendency of water to dissolve, maintaining troublesome impurities before they can be removed from the boiler in boiler blowdown.
